Loved this game, happy to see others giving it love too

I love the way you use line quality on the bridge, and I agree, using two primary colors really gives it a powerful tone.

In terms of meaning, the first word that comes to mind is depth, shown in both the sea and sky. This sense of vastness feels like a mix of both anxiety and awe, and the color scheme really brings out this sense of duality.

I'm sure there's a lot of memory and emotion poured into this, and considering it's purpose/significance, I can't help but feel bittersweet myself, reflecting on my own high school years. What a shitty senior year, what an awful time to be entering a significant transitional period, everything just feels so tiresome and pointless right now. There's so many unknowns at this point, even without the global pandemic, and I don't know about you, but I miss miss my youth already. There's just so much time that's gone to waste, and I don't think I'll ever be ready to move on from what little I've built with the people I know now. Of course there will be some good things that happen in the future, but for the most part, it all just seems so dull and pointless from here on out.

That's my interpretation, sorry it's a lil pretentious and personal

I think this will make a great cover for your yearbook, I hope it turns out well.

I like the big shapes you use in the line art. There's some great shapes in the cel shading too, but It's a little hard to discern where the lightsource is in relation to the character. Also, I love that background and border, they add a certain flair and are just overall visually appealing.

The line art and cel shading look great, but the character on the left feels a little awkward/flat compared to how clearly 3-dimensional the char on the right is with how the hair and dress flow. I think a slightly more dynamic pose could help remedy the mismatch in stiffness. Other than that, I really like the shapes you used for the hair and dress, it adds a lot stylistically.

Unlimited-Edge responds:

Thank you for the critique! I agree, the person on the left was a bit flat and stiff, I really should have tried to rotate her more counterclockwise towards the person hugging her, I drew her at a more 3/4 angle when it should have been facing more towards the other girl.

Love the lighting

Absolutely gorgeous balance between simple shapes and detailed textures/colors, no matter where I look, every single stroke seems to demonstrate immense care and purpose.

Thank you so much 💕 I'm happy this art style is being so well-received, it's super motivating! Thank you for the thoughtful review 😊

I love the folds and shading in all the fabric, just outstanding

I love the way you framed him with the scarf

The face is a little squished, but the colors and lighting are super cool
